In a statement from the bands label, Warner Brothers, the band and management are working toward rescheduling both shows where current tickets will be honored. I think that his voice is just tierd out and he needs some time to rest!

I think that it's not an unspecified illness but that Billie's voice is tierd from this big tour that they are doing this year for American Idiot! It happens to alot of people and he just needs a coupe days to rest.
