Killers Turn Down Top Slot

(NME) THE KILLERS have turned down a headline slot at GLASTONBURY – but insisted they want to do it in 2007.
The band were hotly rumoured to be moving from their slot second on the bill at this years event (June 24) to closing the final night on the Pyramid Stage (June 26). The slot became vacant when Kylie Minogue was forced to pull out after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
