Fanscape reports: Thursday's new album A CITY BY THE LIGHT DIVIDED is on an exclusive pre-sale only at www.towerrecords.com. Each pre-ordered album will be accompanied by a limited edition 7 inch. The album drops officially on May 2nd.

Thursday, forerunners in the trend of including a day of the week or a month in the name of your bandbut seriously, one of the very bands responsible for bringing post-hardcore into the mainstream, will release a second album since signing with Island recording group. From their New Jersey outpost, singer Geoff Rickley, guitarists Steve Pedulla and Tom Keeley, bassist Tim Payne, keyboardist Andrew Everding, and drummer Tucker Rule have brought a style of music that was long regarded as only an oblivion of guitars and yelling created in basements and listened to basements into recognition as a structured genre that actually gives a cultural voice to America's suburban youth. It is loud, tender, true and angry, which are also things that certain music fans really like. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
