(antiMusic) If you can believe it, over 100 guitarists actually auditioned to play with Jani Lane. Lane is putting together a band to tour as Jani Lane's Warrant in North and South America, Europe and Japan. Wes Borland lost out on the gig to 16-year-old Boston native Dario Lorina.
Lorina relocated to Vegas at the ripe age of 12 to pursue a career in music and has jammed with John Petrucci of Dream Theater, Mark Slaughter and Dana Strum of Slaughter, Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue, Skid Row, Chris Degarmo and Michael Wilton of Queensryche, Michael Anthony of Van Halen, George Lynch and Billy Sheehan, according to Sleaze Roxx.
