(Noble PR) Steely Dan's 'Donald Fagen' is to release his long-awaited and highly anticipated third solo album 'Morph The Cat'. The album is released by Reprise Records across the UK and Europe on March 13th (North American release is Tuesday 7th March). 'Morph The Cat' is Fagen's first solo album since 1993's 'Kamakiriad', and the final installment in a musical trilogy that originally began with the release of 1982's 'The Nightfly'.
The new album includes nine new songs written and arranged by Fagen, including 'H Gang', 'What I Do', 'The Great Pagoda Of Funn', 'Security Joan' and 'The Night Belongs To Mona'. Fagen embarks on his first-ever solo tour on 3rd March [see full story for more]

Yes, I think this is the first time Donald has done a solo tour. I'd love to see him play London this year. Let's hope he comes over to the UK to play. I haven't heard the new album and I don't want to hear it until it's released in March. mp3 tracks always sound too compressed. Curious to hear the 5.1 Surround Sound mix on DVD.

I agree, if "H Gang" is anything to go buy, count me in. I've been on Fagen's website and he's doing a US tour in March. However, there are no dates for Europe. I hope he will bring the show to the UK. I dig Steely Dan, but I can't fly all the way to the US to see one concert.

Donald Fagen is a genius. I cannot wait to hear this album. It's his first solo album since 1993. I heard the single "H Gang" and it's funky delicious. What a sound. Great singer. Thanks for this. Pink
