(Aversion) The Elliott Smith tribute album will surface early next month.
As previously reported, several indie bands will take a stab at Smith songs in a collection set to raise money for a pair of charities. The tribute, To: Elliott, From: Portland, from Expunged Records, is due out Feb. 7, and will raise money for Free Arts for Abused Children, the Elliott Smith Foundations official charity.[see full story for more including tracks]
