21st Century Boston
BW&BK reports: BOSTON leader Tom Scholz spent eight non-stop days earlier this year remixing the Boston and Don't Look Back albums for reissue on CD, and says he couldn't be happier.

Scholz was always unhappy about how his music sounded on CD, and he told us that his hard work paid off, and he's finally satisfied: "I've always wanted to fix the sound on these CDs. I was really happy with the way those albums sounded back in the '70s on vinyl and tape, but I never liked the way they sounded after they were transferred to 16-bit CDs. This gave me the opportunity to, sort of, bring those mixes into the 21st Century." [only 8 days? Not years? Tom must be mellowing with age. He needs to call Axl up and give him some advice. Everything New with Poison
DiR reports: Sarah from Sleazeroxx.com sat down with Poison's Rikki Rocket prior to their recent gig in Fargo, North Dakota to discuss the band's 20 year anniversary among other things, including the evolution of the band and the dysfunction within it. Here they discuss what fans can expect from this tour.

SR: Is there anything new or different fans can expect on this tour since it's the 20th anniversary tour?

RR: "Everything is different; it's an entirely new stage. We lost the stage a couple years ago to a truck fire. We had an axle fire on one of the trucks so we lost everything, our backdrops, the stage itself, we lost everything. We were due for a change anyway; it was almost like God smiled on us. So now we have everything new, new drum riser, new props, and new video, so all of that. Obviously we are playing a lot of the same songs because people want to hear the hits, we also pulled a few old ones out, we got 'We're An American Band', so there is a lot of new stuff to see." Jacko Vs Ex
hecklerspray reports: Who'd be Michael Jackson's wife? It's a job that comes with many tasks, like mixing up fresh batches of Jesus Juice before Michael wakes up and occasionally lending him your clothes so he can go shopping in peace.

Debbie Rowe was Michael Jackson's wife for a while last decade, and she's also the mother of his children. Although Debbie Rowe had previously signed away all her parental rights following her divorce from Michael Jackson, she's now embroiled in a bitter custody battle for them. The only thing is, Debbie Rowe doesn't have the money for a legal battle, so she's suing Michael Jackson for failing to pay her the amount of money they agreed on after their divorce in order to be able to continue the custody battle to take back her children from Michael Jackson. Are you confused yet? It's OK, you're doing well.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

McAuley Survivor Group
PR reports: Hot off the pressesformer McAuley Schenker Group (MSG) frontman Robin McAuley has replaced Jim Jamison as the new lead vocalist for Survivor. Jamison first joined the band in 1984 after original lead singer Dave Bickler encountered voice problems before a tour supporting the band's CAUGHT IN THE GAME album.

The band has crossed paths with McAuley here and there over the years, but now is finally the right time for them to join forces. As guitarist Frankie Sullivan explains"When we made the decision to replace Jamison, I had no idea what we would do. Then it hit me-Robin McAuley! Is he available? How can he possibly be available?! Can I be lucky yet again in my career to work with such a talented singer? Well, the short answer, he was available, we gave him the songs of a set list we would perform, he came to the Windy City and blew our socks off! Robin is a pure pleasure to work with and he's such a great person. With Robin, what you see is what you get. And boy do you get it!" - Click Here for the Full Story

Wayne Hancock Tour
PR reports: Wayne "The Train" Hancock, the artist who Hank Williams III claims sounds more like his grandfather than he himself does, actually finds a more applicable comparison to the legendary Texan and big-band leader Bob Wills. Hancock's latest release on Bloodshot Records, Tulsa (Out Oct 10), is a tip of the ten-gallon hat to Wills, who settled in Tulsa, Oklahoma early in his career. As Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys did in the '40s and '50s, Wayne Hancock takes his show out on the road for more than 250 days out of the year, filling dance halls with uncompromising sets of his infectious brand of Western swing. Wayne Hancock will kick off a summer/fall U.S. tour on July 21 in Houston.[see full story for dates]- Click Here for the Full Story
