(CMJ) Heavy metal progenitors Blue Cheer have announced an abbreviated tour that will kick off November 2 with a performance at the CMJ Music Marathon. The band, who is best known for their 1968 cover of Eddie Cochran's "Summertime Blues" (no, it is not a Who song), have retained two of their three original members, vocalist/bassist Richard "Dickey" Peterson and drummer Paul Whaley.
