Evanescence Split
Rockdirt reports: Amy Lee posted the following message to fans on Evanescence's Myspace page on Sunday (May 6): "Evanescence is alive and well. John and Rocky were in Evanescence for four years and we shared some great times together playing live, but they were ready to move on and so we have parted ways. Evanescence is something I have loved and nurtured since I was fourteen, and I will continue to protect and fight for it as I always have. Terry, Tim and I are very excited to play live with some amazing new musicians and we will rock harder than ever. Stay tuned for more news on that front. And don't worry about the tour, guys. Nothing will be cancelled and we will see you soon!"

Former Evanescence drummer Rocky Gray issued a statement regarding his departure from the band, following the band's former guitarist John LeCompt's exit. "Amy Lee's management emailed me last night to tell me that, in their view, the contract I signed to record, perform and tour with the group says that I'm not allowed to have any free speech in regard to Evanescence," Gray said from his home in Arkansas. "The way they spin it, I'm not even allowed to say I quit the group, I guess. But the news is out there, so, there ya' go. I need to have a lawyer read over all that mess to tell me what, when and how I can tell you all -- the REAL FANS -- what really went down, if I ever can, haha."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Manson Considered Suicide
MTV reports: There was a point not too long ago but before news of the dissolution of his marriage to Dita Von Teese went public in late January that Marilyn Manson realized he just didn't want to live anymore. His life was in utter turmoil, he had hit a wall creatively, and the idea that he didn't "have somebody to hold hands with through hell" was too much to handle.

"I was clearly at the point where I was ready to give up, and it wasn't that I didn't have the motivation to ... it was almost as if I couldn't bring myself to make a conclusion," Manson explained. "I can look back on it now like it was a different person, and I refuse to ever get to that place again. But it was mostly because I didn't feel that I had someone who was going to walk with me through the horrible reality that we live in. Did I want to kill myself? Yes. Did I come close to doing that? More than I'd like to think... [see full story for more]

Queen Reject Reality TV

"We were asked," said May. "But we said no. We all feel that TV auditioning would be contrary to the spirit of our show. I's actually an appalling lowering of standards, this whole TV-dominated culture. I promise you will never find us on some panel bullying and ridiculing young performers I personally detest that kind of thing, and I think it's a shame that the public puts up with it."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
