Hanson Go On Another Walkabout
PR reports: With Hanson's fourth studio album, The Walk, which debuted in the Top 5 on Billboard's Independent Chart, the band has announced a new set of U.S. dates beginning September 7. The Walk Around The World Tour has a refreshed message in their goals to fight poverty in Africa and a re-tooled live set for the fans.

On The Walk Around The World Tour it is not HANSON that is trotting the globe (though they will be touring in South America this Fall) Hanson's new campaign is to encourage fans and other individuals to continue the one mile walks they have hosted since last Fall to fight poverty with a new mission of compiling enough miles to walk 'around the world' (24,902 Miles.)

Through the campaign others can organize their own walks locally coordinated through Takethewalk.net set to launch mid-August or join Hanson for a walk during their tour. For each mile, a dollar is donated on the walker's behalf - by the band. Most importantly fans are empowered to directly support real solutions on the ground in Africa through the tour and the bands site. - more on this story

Order of Ennead Culling Preview
Let's Capitalize Every Other Word in Our Press Releases Records reports: ORDER OF ENNEAD, the recently-formed Floridian extreme metal band featuring STEVE ASHEIM (drums; DEICIDE), SCOTT PATRICK (bass), KEVIN QUIRION (vocals, guitar) and JOHN LI (guitar), have revealed their brand new debut track, entitled "The Culling".

"The Culling" is a fitting debut track for ORDER OF ENNEAD, delivering everything you could want from an extreme metal song - brutal drums, harsh vocals, pulverising [sic]riffs and shredding solos.

ORDER OF ENNEAD vocalist and guitarist KEVIN QUIRION recently described the meanings behind the songs. Here's what he had to say about "The Culling": "This one is about getting rid of those who bring you down and ridding yourself of destructive habits. Distancing yourself from negativity and those that are negative. The abolishment of those who are non-supportive." - more on this story

. Bum Kon - Drunken Sex Sucks
They were smart, they were quick, they could play very well and they meant it, but Bum Kon wasn't destined to become hardcore legends like early Black Flag or Circle Jerks. Instead, they've become immortalized punk youth few outside of Denver knew about.. (4 stars) - Read the full Bum Kon - Drunken Sex Sucks review
