Dino From Fear Factory Assaulted By Snot Singer
Lambgoat reports: According to the wife of Divine Heresy founder (and former Fear Factory member), Dino Cazares, both she and her husband were attacked this past weekend by former Divine Heresy singer, Tommy "Vext" Cummings, at a Metal Mayhem show. Jennifer Cazares has issued the following:

"Last night at The Metal Mayhem Festival, having a great time with awesome friends backstage. Out of no where comes a beer and fist straight to my face (so horrifying and painful). That somebody... (Tommy Vext). He has my husband by the hair (it all was so sudden) next thing you know the Live Nation guards pushed us all over, stopping everything and it took several guards to take Tommy down. They took him down and he hit his head on the ground cutting his head open, and even then he was still pulling my husband's hair and not letting go. I was struggling to get out of this mess of people. I don't really realize what's going on!

"Tommy Vext (new Snot singer, ex-Divine Heresy) tried attacking Dino for no reason. I was terrified. I feared for my life [from] this guy five times my size. He could of killed me, literally. I assure you [it was] absolutely unprovoked. Everybody knows Tommy has a history of being a loose cannon and ready to explode at any moment. This is the second time Tommy has assaulted Dino in recent month's, the first assault being in Poughkeepsie, New York. - more on this story

Miley Cyrus Hopes For Sex And The City... For Kids
Hecklerspray reports: You see, Miley Cyrus doesn't want to be the wholesome tween star of Hannah Montana forever, which is why she's decided to tell the world about her brilliant new pitch for a TV show. It's basically Miley Cyrus, right, starring in Sex And The City.

Seriously, that's what she said. Miley Cyrus wants to make a toned-down, slightly more wholesome version of Sex And The City for children. This is deeply upsetting news indeed - we already had an idea for a show called The Miley Cyrus Over The Sweater Action And Nothing More Until I'm Married Because I Love God Hour, and Miley Cyrus goes and steals it, the 15-year-old bitch.

You might not have noticed, but Miley Cyrus is hell-bent on growing up. Although she's still only 15 years old - an age where most people are happy to hula hoop in meadows or carry loaves of bread for pensioners - Miley Cyrus just won't stop trying to assert her adulthood onto everyone.

Tickle Me Pink Returning To The Road After Member's Death
Wind-Up Records reports: Tickle Me Pink has announced plans to move towards the future following the passing of band member Johnny Schou.

Singer Sean Kennedy shared, "Johnny always wanted to bring purpose to other people's lives. He had a quiet leadership that lives in all of us as a band. His legacy is in his music and every show we play we are sharing a piece of Johnny's heart with our listeners. Not only would he want us to carry on, but we owe it to him."

He continued, "We have had to do some major soul searching as a band. We not only have lost a band member, but our best friend. The process is just beginning. We will never be able to replace Johnny, but through this tragedy we have all grown even closer together and are going to make him proud." Drummer Stefan Runstrom added, "Following a period of mourning over the loss of a great friend, it was only natural to want to move on. For two weeks, we were wrapped up in what seemed to be an enormous setback for our band. Now, it's proven to be more of an opportunity to unite and see something through till the end."

Tickle Me Pink has enlisted long-time friend Joey Barba to join them on the road as guitarist.

Flaming Hendrix Guitar To Be Sold
Reuters reports: One of Jimi Hendrix's favorite guitars, set alight on a London stage more than 40 years ago and thought to have been lost forever, is to be auctioned later this year.

The guitar, a 1965 Fender Stratocaster, was famously doused with lighter fuel and set alight by the rock legend during a one-off performance at London's Finsbury Astoria in March 1967.

Hendrix had to be rushed to hospital with minor burns to his hands after the stunt, and the guitar, slightly damaged along the neck and pickboard, was recovered by his staff.

Midnight To Twelve Week: Day 4
antiMusic reports: Are you a bit tired of emo? Burnt out on mallcore and bling obsessed hip-hop? If so, alternative rockers Midnight to Twelve just might have what you are looking for. The band's surprisingly eclectic self-titled album hits stores next week and to get you ready for it we asked frontman Jon Hartman to pick some of his favorite songs from the album and tell us about them. Here is Jon with today's song:

"How bad" was written at a time when we were playing the crap out of the Sunset Strip back home in LA. We all had regular jobs but for one month we did something ridiculous like 20 shows all over on any day of the week just to plaster our name out there and show people we were willing to work. We played early, we played late at the best clubs and the shadiest clubs. We would see these bands that just expected everything to be handed to them because they bought a spot at the Viper Room on a Friday but they weren't willing to do work to make it happen. We have always believed that you make your own road and those that are the most hungry and willing to sacrifice for it will always end up on top.

Hear what it's all about, learn more about the band and the CD, plus find out where you can see them live. It's all right
