The five-piece outfit favored by Steve Earle and David Byrne for their modern interpretation of the traditional Brazilian dance style known as forró also has a new EP titled Dia de Roda slated for digital release on Nublu Records on May 13.

Dia de Roda is a five-song collection that kicks off with a reggae inspired jam, whips through some sweat-inducing Brazilian backcountry grooves, and ends up with rockabilly-inflected forró finale, the perfect soundtrack for warm weather hi-jinks.
