Disturbed UK
PR reports: After a busy summer of touring Europe and performing at sold out festivals including Rock and Ring and Download, and a nationwide tour of the US with Mastodon and Slipknot, Disturbed will bring their electrifying live performance back to the UK.

The new single, "Indestructible", (out on October 6th) the title track from the album, is a blistering ball of metal goodness. Taken from their US number one album (as well as being No1 in Canada, Australia and New Zealand and as already racked up worldwide sales of 1 million) of the same name, the band set out to make an "all killer, no filler" gutsy metal record and they achieved that in droves.

'Down with the Sickness" their legendary anthem is featured in the new "Rockband" game which is currently taking the world by storm. - dates

B.B. King & His Orchestra Live
conqueroo reports: As part of Acrobat Music's U.S. label launch, B.B. King's B.B. King & His Orchestra Live will be released October 21, 2008, marking the recording's first availability in the U.S. The album was recorded in January 1983 in Cannes during the international music industry gathering known as MIDEM. The concert, sponsored by Kool, was held at the Palais des Congres, where King shared the stage with Dave Brubeck Quartet and Pat Matheny.

B.B. King & His Orchestra Live presents many of King's hits and standards recorded under the band directorship of Calvin Owens. King and famous guitar Lucille and the band were in top form on such hits as "Why I Sing the Blues," "The Thrill is Gone," "Everyday I Have the Blues," "Sweet Little Angel," and a world-class reading of Louis Jordan's "Caldonia."

The collection features liner notes by British music historian Neil Slaven, who says, "Instead of chitlin' circuit gigs that paid the rent and touring bills, King was elevated to concert stages on the U.S. and Europe and ultimately, around the world. Since then, apart from winning a string of music awards including Grammys and Handys, he's been awarded Doctorates, Lifetime Achievement Awards, Humanitarian Awards and has played at the White House for two presidents."

Finger Eleven Live From Daryl's House
PR reports: In the mockumentary cult classic This Is Spinal Tap!, guitarist Nigel Tufnel memorably explains how his amp went beyond the norm with a setting of 11. "Where can you go from there?" he wondered. Well, Daryl Hall turns it up a notch with his free web-show, Live From Daryl's House, this month, featuring Canadian rock band Finger Eleven as special guests on the 11th, and latest, edition.

Live From Daryl's House has become a destination for music fans seeking the latest in up-and-coming artists collaborating with the legendary rock singer/songwriter. This month's installment features guitarists James Black and Rick Jackett from Finger Eleven, which formed in 1989 in Burlington, Ontario, and were signed to Wind-up Records a decade ago. Their self-titled 2003, gold-certified release included the Top 5 single, "One Thing," while 2007's similarly gold Them vs. You vs. Me produced the massive crossover hit "Paralyzer," which has become the 18th most downloaded song in history, with sales approaching 2.5 million. - more on this story

Treponem Pal Reissue
MMP reports: Metal Mind Productions presents re-release of the self-titled debut LP by the most respected industrial band from France: Treponem Pal.

"Treponem Pal" will be available on 22nd September 2008 in Europe and 28th October 2008 in USA (via MVD). New edition is digitally remastered using 24-Bit process on golden disc and limited to 2000 copies.

The band's story begins in 1986, in a time when pop glitz or American glam metal reigned the European music scene. Back then industrial metal was just starting to grow, however the genre's turning point was close - groups such as Skinny Puppy and Front 242 begun aggressively marking their presence on the scene. You might say that Treponem Pal emerged in a time that was groundbreaking for the genre - for it was 1988 when Ministry's "Land of Rape and Honey" was released. - more on this story
