System of a Down has joined forces with activist/Oscar-nominated director Michael Moore and the crew from �Bowling for Columbine� to make the video for �BOOM!� Much of �BOOM!� was shot by independent media activists and local guerilla filmmakers at the various marches that took place across the globe over the weekend of February 15 - Presidents� Day weekend - Berlin, Cape Town, Rome, Paris, Tokyo, Washington, D.C., London, Chicago, Oslo, Rio de Janeiro, St. Louis, Los Angeles - and Iraq - to mention just a few of the 40+ locales where footage was incorporated from.

MTV2�S Music Reacts Debuts �BOOM!�
Beginning today, Tuesday, March 18th, starting at 8am ET and repeating at the top of each hour throughout the day, MTV2 is airing a special video block titled �MTV2�s Music Reacts.� The block contains videos and interviews from 3 Doors Down and System of a Down that offer different perspectives on the hot issues of the day including the potential war with Iraq, the US troops, peace activists, politicians, and more. The videos will be introduced by and put into context by the artists, who will speak about their inspiration for the songs and the videos.
From Bob Dylan to Rage Against the Machine, music has always played a large role in social and political discourse. MTV2�s objective with �MTV2�s Music Reacts� is not to take a stand one way or the other on any of these contentious issues, but to offer our viewers different views and opinions from artists who are addressing these topics through their music.
