Van Halen Tap R&B Singer for Support

(antiMusic) Bob Marley's son, Ky-Mani, supported Van Halen on the first leg of their reunion tour. The band has tapped another unexpected artist to support the second half of the second leg of their reunion tour, R&B singer Ryan Shaw.

Shaw is also nominated for a Grammy this year in the category of Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance for "I am Your Man" from his debut release This Is Ryan Shaw.

Shaw's official site had this announcement about the tour: [Ryan] will be going on tour as the sole supporting act for Van Halen starting on February 22nd! The critically acclaimed tour features Van Halen's original singer, David Lee Roth, who has not performed with the band in over 22 years. - Visit his site for dates and to learn more about him.
