Interpol, Swervedriver Magnetic Super Group was a top story for this week. Here it is again: (PR) Two musicians and one rock critic. Not a new rock opera but instead, the story specifically of Magnetic Morning and its dawn. Brought together by a dual admiration for each other's music and introduced by a mutual journalist pal, Adam Franklin of Swervedriver/Toshack Highway and Interpol's Sam Fogarino make up the unique musical partnership of Magnetic Morning. "The songs are a testament to Franklin and Fogarino's willingness to step away from their individual musical calling cards; there's no screeching distortion or three-guitar jams a la Swervedriver, and the music is considerable looser than Interpol's buttoned-up rock," exclaims Magnet. Franklin and Fogarino plan to debut their new material on a fall U.S. tour this October and November.
