Blink-182's Mark Hoppus told MTV News last week that the band "did a bunch of writing before we left on this tour, then we came home and decided we were going to take a couple of months and chill and do other stuff, then get back together in the beginning of the year. And now that it's almost February, we decided it's time to get back in the studio and do what we do. So that's the plan: just get back together and get to work." He goes on to describe what they hope it will sound like: "We definitely want to try a bunch of different stuff. I think it will still sound like Blink. I think it will still be catchy. I think it will still be poppy, but we want to be weird on this record," he said.
