Former Misfits Frontman Michale Graves Plans New Album

Former Misfits frontman Michale Graves will once again use KickStarter to release a new project. We were sent these details:

Graves will be recording a new rock album entitled "Lost Skeleton Returns" at Soundmine Recording Studio in February 2013.

The album, being produced by Hydraulic Entertainment, has a release date set for 6/14/13 and will feature 14 songs highlighting all phases of Graves Horror Rock career, including 4 new and never before released songs.

Grave's has also announced a limited run summer and fall "Lost Skeleton Returns" 2013 tour with his "Chamber of Horrors" band.

Included on the album will be new performances of early classic songs including "Dig Up Her Bones", "Scream", American Psycho", ""Die Monster Die" and "Fiend Club" and "Fiend Without a Face".

Also included on the album will be new performances of 3 songs from his "Punk Rock is Dead" period including "Godzilla", Dawn of the Dead", "Earth vs Spider" and The album will also include 4 brand new and never recorded songs featuring the title song "Lost Skeleton", "Zombie", "Forbidden Planet" and "Something Wicked" all written and performed in pure Grave's style.

Since 2001 Graves has been incredibly selective about performing Monster Rock music in his signature "Skele-Crow" make-up. Michale has announced that he plans on a limited number of in character "Skele-Crow" performances in 2013 coinciding with the "Lost Skeleton returns" project.

Graves commented "Monster Rock and the Skele-Crow persona is my origin, my passion and part of who I will always be as a performer. This album is a true anthology of my work and highlights the most important songs that I have written and performed. I have been consistently asked about my formal return to the Horror Rock world and now I have an incredibly exciting album and tour to reassert my trajectory into the genre that launched my career".

After recent success launching his pop/folk/rock album "Vagabond" on KickStarter, Graves decided that the pre-selling and promotion of his return to the Horror Rock world was perfectly suited to KickerStarter.

In addition to pre-sales of the "Lost Skeleton Returns" album, Graves will be offering an assortment of pledge level opportunities ranging from T-Shirts and stage used clothing to in-person performances, and a Halloween 2013 event dubbed "The Halloween Party of the Year".

Graves is also offering a limited number of band consulting packages entitled "Michale Graves Monster University". Graves notes "I wanted to create a way that I could assist in the development of bands and Monster U is the perfect way to achieve that goal".
