The California rockers repeated their 2011 sweep by taking home top honors as both the Rock News Artist Of The Year and as the Rock News Story Of The Year.

Guns N' Roses were the runner-up for Rock News Artist, while Van Halen secured the top two Rock News stories of 2012.

Van Halen were the most read-about artist in both hennemusic categories, which are determined by music fans: numbers are based on the combined total page views of the top 50 hennemusic rock news stories of the past twelve months.

"Van Halen's first album with David Lee Roth in decades was the most-anticipated rock record in many years," said Bruce Henne.
