Royal Southern Brotherhood Supergroup Announce Live Album

11/14/2013
.
(The Blues) Royal Southern Brotherhood will release a Songs From The Road live album on December 9 via Ruf Records. The supergroup's CD/DVD set was recorded at the Crossroads Blues Festival, Bonn, Germany last year.

Their addition to the Songs From The Road series follows the acclaimed release of their self-titled album in 2012 and Ruf states the performance captures Cyril Neville, Devon Allman, Mike Zito, Yonrico Scott and Charlie Wooton at their very best.

"It's hard to imagine a band more deserving of the live-album treatment," the label says. "If there was chemistry afoot when the five members first convened in New Orleans over the summer of 2010, then it's only been strengthened by the debut album and the subsequent world tour that's seen RSB raise the roof across twenty-plus countries. more on this story
