Pearl Jam will celebrate the release of their new album, "Lightning Bolt", with a SiriusXM Town Hall event where they will be taking questions from fans and giving fans in attendance a listening party for the new album.
Brendan O'Brien, the producer of the band's new album, will be moderating the event which will be taking place at a "secret" location in the band's hometown of Seattle on October 3rd.
The "SiriusXM's Town Hall with Pearl Jam" special will then air the following Friday, October 11th on the satellite radio network's Pearl Jam Radio (channel 22) and via their phone apps.
Pearl Jam guitarist Stone Gossard had this to say, "Since this is one of the first times that any of our fans will have the chance to hear Lightning Bolt, I'm psyched to see how they respond to the new music and to answer some of their questions about the making of the record."
Pearl Jam will be releasing the new album, "Lightning Bolt", in North America on October 15th. They are currently holding a sweepstakes for fans to obtain admittance to the Town Hall event. Details here.
