Slash and his former Guns N' Roses bandmate Axl Rose are not exactly on the best of terms but Slash had a positive reaction to his friend, Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie and her actor husband Josh Duhamel, naming their new son Axl. TMZ caught up with Slash and asked him his thoughts on the name. TMZ, ""I think it's really cool, I actually talked to [Fergie and Josh] yesterday. It's all good … who am I to judge?" Flotsam And Jetsam have lunched a Pledge Music campaign for their album, No Place For Disgrace. No Place For Disgrace 2014 features re-recorded with fresh tracks. During a recent interview with BraveWords, former Flotsam And Jetsam bassist Jason Newsted (ex-METALLICA, VOIVOD) - who wrote some of the material on the original No Place For Disgrace - revealed that he has been helping the band with the re-recordings. more

What that means is that throughout the month of September, the band's hit song "The Woodpile," will be highlighted on Hard Rock's in-cafe video system – playing over 1,000 times a day on more than 20,000 screens in Hard Rock's 138 cafe locations worldwide.
