N.W.A. Biopic Apologizes for 'Offensive' Female Casting Call
. On the call sheet, the company, Sandi Alessi, explained they were looking for four different types of girls, which they unwisely ranked from A to D. In its description, "A" girls were listed as the "hottest of the hottest" and "must have real hair" while "B" girls should be "light skinned." However, the "D" girls were listed as having to be "African-American" and "poor, not in in good shape." Even more offensive, they considered Beyonc to only be a "B." Kristan Berona of Sandi Alessi took to Facebook late last week to apologize for the "offensive language to recruit women" "My intention was not to offend anyone and I'm so deeply sorry for not realizing the insensitivity in its content," she wrote. "I'm truly so sorry." Read Universal Pictures Reaction. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
