Lykke Li Delivers New Song 'No Rest For the Wicked'

(Radio.com) Lykke Li is giving fans another taste of her upcoming album, I Never Learn, in which she says every song is a "power ballad." The latest track, "No Rest For The Wicked" keeps on that trajectory, with Li pouring her heart out on the floor, singing, "I let my good one down/I let my true love die/I had his heart but broke it every time."

Earlier this month, Li released the lead-off single of her third album, "Love Me Like I'm Not Made of Stone," which has her pleading with her guy to love her 'til he can't.

In a recent interview with NME, Li said she saw her albums as a trilogy with Youth Novels as the first chapter and this one ending the story. She also explained how a breakup has had a major impact on the writing of the record, which was co-produced by Lykke, Björn Yttling of Peter Björn and John and GRAMMY-award winning producer Greg Kurstin.

"It's always about me and the guilt and the shame and the hurt and the pride and the confusion of being a woman," she said.
