Diplo Denies He and Skrillex Were Booed Off the Stage
. According to Pulse Radio, stage organizers were able to fill the vacated time slot with a surprise appearance from Diplo and Skrillex (AKA Jack U), who were already in the area with a show the next night at Camp Question Mark. While Skrillex fired up some tunes that placated the discriminating crowd, Diplo didn't fare so well when he cued up DJ Snake and Lil Jon's ubiquitous party hit, "Turn Down for What." The audience responded to the track with a chorus of boos, hastily sending the superstar DJs offstage to be replaced by German techno duo, Tale of Us. Diplo has given his own account of the events at Burning Man over the last week and claims that he and Skrillex were not booed off stage; rather, it was an "inside joke" that was in "good fun," rather than reports that the duo was kicked out due to playing DJ Snake's "Turn Down for What."
