(Radio.com) Wilco performed their new single "Someone to Lose" Wednesday night (Sept. 21) on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The song comes from the band's tenth studio album, Schmilco, which came out September 9. Colbert introduced the band as 'our friends, Wilco," as Ethan Hawke stood next to the stage and waved a foam finger. Wilco also took part in a couple of comedy sketches. In one, singer Jeff Tweedy jams on guitar with Stephen Colbert plays the didgeridoo in the Key of G. Tweedy also filmed a short spoof explaining that the band doesn't just throw out names like Schmilco and Star Wars at the last-minute when they release an album.
