Natalie Cole's Family 'Outraged' By Grammy Tribute Snub

(Radio.com) Natalie Cole's family was upset after watching the Grammys this past Monday (Feb. 15). They felt that the tribute the Grammys came up with for the late jazz and pop singer was disrespectful.

Cole passed away on December 31 at the age of 65 due to heart failure. Her image was apart of the in memoriam montage. Cole didn't receive a special tribute like B.B. King, Glenn Frey, Lemmy and David Bowie did at the ceremony and that's got Cole's family hot under the collar.

Cole's sisters, Timolin and Casey told Entertainment Tonight, "Words cannot express the outrage and utter disappointment at the disrespectful tribute, or lack thereof, to a legendary artist such as our sister."

Natalie Cole's son, Robert Adam Yancy stated, "Here is a woman who has been in the business for four decades, had 21 Grammy nominations and won nine Grammys. She deserves more than [to be a part of] a minute-and-a-half tribute." Read more here.

"Now he's being deliberately rude to people pulling out of interviews, being difficult. Get over yourself, mate. You're a multi-millionaire pop star." Read more here.

Justin Bieber Talks Skrillex Collaboration 'Where Are U Now?"

(Radio.com) Jack U's "Where Are U Now?" was the first step in Justin Bieber's career rehab. After being absent from the music scene for a few years, Bieber began working with Jack U's Skrillex on his comeback album, Purpose.

But he was re-introduced to fans via his guest appearance on the Jack U song. When Radio.com spoke with Bieber, he noted that simply the idea that he was working with Skrillex helped to change the way music fans see him:

"It shows the world, "Hey, if Skrillex is so authentic with his music, and he's co-signing on Justin Bieber, let's give him a shot.' Because I think certain people, especially dudes' I'm a 21 year old man.

"I do pop music. I don't know if it's necessarily ever been 'cool' to like Justin Bieber. And I'm not saying, 'Yeah, dude, come be a 'Belieber," I don't know, really, what that entails." Read more here.

Eric Church Releases New Single 'Record Year'

(EBM) Eric Church has released the second single "Record Year" from his surprise album 'Mr. Misunderstood' and shares the country star's story of finding comfort from a broken heart in a three-foot stack of vinyl records. We were sent over the following details.

The lyrics name-checks Stevie Wonder's Songs In The Key of Life, Willie Nelson's Red Headed Stranger, John Lee Hooker's One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer among others from Church's stack of vinyl.

Here are some of the lyrics, "Your leavin' left me goin' crazy, I'm countin' on a needle to save me / I drop it in the groove, And we go 'round and 'round, And down in a spiral / I guess I really oughta call and thank you, I rediscovered Red Headed Stranger / Got down with old James Brown, And found New Grass Revival / If you find your way back, I owe you a beer, For my record year"

Church co-wrote "Record Year" with longtime banjo player and guitarist Jeff Hyde who has previously collaborated on hits such as the three-week No. 1 "Springsteen" (along with Ryan Tyndell) from the ACM and CMA Album of the Year Chief and the anthematic Top 20 "Smoke a Little Smoke" (written by Church and Hyde alongside other bandmate Driver Williams) from 2009's Carolina. Gwen Stefani Steals A Grammys Commercial Break With Live Video

(Radio.com) Gwen Stefani launched her new video for "Make Me Like You," in spectacular fashion during The Grammys. But the video wasn't just shown during the awards telecast. Rather than running many commercials throughout the evening, Target purchased one entire 4-minute commercial break in order to air an entire music video--live.

From the look of the complex moving set, it appears as though it was quite a feat. Not only did they need everything to be executed perfectly, but it had to be done exactly at the right moment in order to sync up with the Grammys telecast.

After many rehearsals, it was time to let it rip and her production team pulled off a seemingly flawless video live in front of millions of viewers. Watch the full video here.

However, Adele took to Twitter after her set to explain the problem and assure us she will survive. Specifically, she planned to stop by California's famed burger joint chain, In-N-Out.

"The piano mics fell on to the piano strings, that's what the guitar sound was. It made it sound out of tune. S- happens," she wrote. "Because of it though I'm treating myself to an in n out. So maybe it was worth it." Read more here.
