(press release) The Songwriters Showcases of America has begun a new program called Songs For Charity to help raise funds for non profit organizations. The first song being used for the campaign during the month of July is called "Celebrating Independence" to help raise funds for Wounded Warriors Hospital Fund in honor of Independence Day.

Wounded Warriors is a non profit organization that operates in Iraq and financially assist service men and women who are hospitalized from injuries that occurred in the line of duty. The song "Celebrating Independence" is being promoted around the world by email, websites, radio and at many community festivities to help raise money for the cause. As part of the campaign you can listen and download the song for free by going to the SSA's website at www.ssa.cc. SSA's President, Phil Weidner hopes that through the Songs For Charity program many Americans can show their support for US military personnel and can make a donation to Wounded Warriors.
