Cops Vs Rush
BW&BK reports: Two deputies who arrested a founder of the Canadian rock trio RUSH have sued, claiming the guitarist attacked them as they tried to force his son to leave a hotel during a New Year's Eve party. Lawyers representing the Ritz-Carlton in Naples and deputies involved in the arrest filed court papers arguing they acted properly when they arrested Justin Zivojinovich, who allegedly had become disorderly and was asked to leave the party to ring in 2004. 

The filings respond to a federal lawsuit filed in June by Alex Zivojinovich, known onstage as Alex Lifeson, Rush's lead guitarist.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Reggay Bashing Trial
BBC reports: Reggae star Buju Banton is to go on trial next month in Jamaica for his alleged role in an attack on a group of six gay men, a judge said on Friday.

The Gauntlet reports: Legendary New Orleans sludge kings EYEHATEGOD have issued the following statement:

"[EYEHATEGOD frontman] Mike Williams has been arrested, and is being held in Morgan City Jail, about an hour west of New Orleans. We won't elaborate on the details as a precautionary measure; if you'd like to know, write him (info below). he was on probation at the time of his arrest, so having a cop breathe in his general direction was a threat to his freedom. Ex-Soilent Green Vocalist Killed in Hurricane

"A good friend to most of us that post here on NolaUnderground was found dead in his Mother's home yesterday afternoon. His ex-girlfriend Stacy and some National Guardsmen went to Glenn's Mom's house on Guerra Drive in Violet Louisiana yesterday because Stacy had not heard from Glenn since before the huricane. They discovered the bodies of Glenn & his Mom still in the house.

Enya Stalker
Gigwise reports: Irish ethereal songstress Enya is being stalked by a crazed fans who has caused two security breaches at her Dublin home in the past week.

On one occasion a fan broke into her Dublin Castle, tied up a maid and then roamed the building looking for Enya.
