Motley Injury
Press Release reports: Tommy Lee suffered minor burns on his arms and face while suspended 30 feet above the stage during a pyrotechnic explosion at a Motley Crue concert in Casper, WY on Wednesday, October 12. He was treated as an outpatient at a local hospital and is expected to fully recover. 

Motley Crue singer Vince Neil said, "He didn't look good while the paramedics were treating him backstage so we chose to err on the side of caution and send him to the hospital."

Coke Boy
BBC reports: Thirteen bags of cocaine were allegedly found in Boy George's New York home when he was arrested, papers released by Manhattan's district attorney show.

Strokes Controversy
FMQB reports: The Strokes' new single from First Impressions Of Earth, "Juicebox," has already begun invading the radio airwaves, and the band will shoot the video this weekend. However, they are being very tight-lipped about the concept. Frontman Julian Casablancas told MTV.com, "We're doing a live performance at a radio station [in the video], which will be broadcast all across New York. There might be full-frontal nudity. In this excerpt Dave talks about the next CoF album: antiMusic: Can you give us a sneak peek at the songs for the new record? Any titles yet and does the material continue in the same vein as the stellar Nymphetamine? 

Dave Pybus: It's a progression from Nymphetamine in regards to catchy songs with some hooks and lots of good ideas. We have most of the material written now... near on 15-16 tracks... with a few more still to be completed with arrangements. We are also trying out a few new ideas. All good.

E! reports: Madonna announced via press release that she had struck a landmark deal with MTV Networks to promote her upcoming album, Confessions on a Dancefloor, due Nov. 15.

Reuters reports: The Flaming Lips have completed shooting on their feature film "Christmas on Mars," which has been in the works for several years. AP reports: Norah Jones and Wyclef Jean have recorded a ballad to raise funds for hurricane aid. "Any Other Day" will only be offered digitally through MSN Music.

The book will be written in collaboration with Christopher Simon Sykes, a close friend since 1967.
