Linkin Changes
SMN reports: LINKIN PARK's Chester Bennington has offered up this nifty little album update in a Q&A session with the band's official webmaster. The talk surrounds the still untitled upcoming album which is being produced by Rick Rubin:

What is the writing process like?

It's fun. We all get a chance to release and contribute creatively. Rick Rubin, the producer on our new record, has us working in a style that we've never done before, so it's different for us. We'll come up with ideas individually then come together and work on it as a band. We decide together what direction the songs will go... but this album will be more vocally driven than any of our other ones. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Staff Meeting: Brodie
antiMusic reports: A lot of people work hard to make antiMusic what it is. So with our 8th anniversary we felt it was time to spotlight each writer so you can get to know them a little better. Over the next few weeks we will be posting a small portion of each staff person's new profile page. So let's begin and get to know Brodie a little better.

Brodie is from the Indiana side of Chicago and has been with antiMusic for a year. The first CD he purchased was 'Out of Time' by REM and his first concert was Petra in 1983. He lists The Cure, Pixies, Brandtson, Guns N Roses, EARLY (pre-BLACK era) Metallica, Johnny Cash, Tool , Black Crowes, Henry Rollins/Rollins Band, U2 as his Top 10 Favorite artists. His musical pet peeve is "crappy bands that do good because of easily-led automatons, rather than the lesser known bands around who's music warrants attention, much of which they never end up getting." His favorite parts of antiMusic are the daily updates, music reviews. Click the full story to learn more about Brodie and discover which artist he would slap, which artist he thinks should be as big as the Beatles and a lot more!
