Blabbermouth reports: Jeff Walker of the Wilkes Barre Times-Leader has issued the following report:

Although "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" is by far and away AEROSMITH's biggest hit, it was not written with them in mind. iRadio
Audio Aggression reports: Motorola is getting into the commercial-free radio game with iRadio, a new music subscription service that will go on sale this year. iRadio, which will be broadcasting content from Clear Channel Radio, will initially launch with 435 commercial-free channels. The channels will include 40 different styles of Rock, 12 different Jazz offerings, and niche genres such as "One Hit Wonders" and "Angry Women." Motorola's iRadio service will first run on the Rokr E2 cell phone, which unlike the first Rokr phone, will not include Apple's iTunes software. tinfoil.music reports: Cats, shmats. Thanks to the combined firepower of Stephen King and John Mellencamp, get ready for the singin'est, dancin'est, finger-snappin'est, top-tappin'est--and possibly spookiest--musical hit of the millennium. 

In one of the weirder collaborations in the history of musical theater, the king of horror and heartland rocker are--we kid you not--working on a haunted musical, according to Billboard.

Starting Line Virgins
punkbands reports: We have recieved word that, after parting ways with Geffen late last year, pop-punk band the Starting Line are labelless no longer. It's been confirmed that the Philadelphia-based quartet has signed with Virgin Records The band will record and release their follow-up to 2005's Drive-Thru/Geffen-released Based On A True Story later this year. Sundance Goes Hardcore
punkbands reports: American Hardcore: The History of American Punk Rock 1980 - 1986 is set to be screened at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah this year. The film by Paul Rachman was inspired by American Hardcore: A Tribal History, a book by Steven Blush. The filmmakers also have a myspace page. 

The 98-minute film primarily deals with the most influential acts of that era, including Black Flag, Bad Brains and Minor Threat. It features appearances from Lucky Lehrer (Circle Jerks), Vic Bondi (Articles Of Faith), Ian MacKaye (Minor Threat, Fugazi), Greg Hetson (Circle Jerks, Bad Religion), Henry Rollins (Black Flag), Mike Patton (Middle Class), Greg Ginn (Black Flag, SST Records), Jack Grisham (TSOL), Brett Gurewitz (Bad Religion, Epitaph Records) and many others who took part in that era. Morningstar is Born
siN's metal news reports: MORNINGSTAR RECORDS, a new Norwegian label started by members of SATYRICON live, NECROPHAGIA, KEEP OF KALESSIN, CHTON, MANES, MAX MIDSUN has been launched. The label is planning their first release, BLOODTHORN's "Genocide", in Europe for Februrary of this year.

Queensryche Ink Deal
Chipster reports: The progressive metal band Queensryche is announcing it has signed with Rhino Records. Rhino is scheduled to release 'Operation:mindcrime II' in January 2006. This is the eagerly awaited sequel to Queensryche's groundbreaking 1988 concept album 'Operation:mindcrime.'

"'Operation:mindcrime II' is about revenge and what it does to people -- their emotions and the situations they find themselves in," says Tate, who conceived the sequel's direction last year while working on a screenplay based on the original album.
