August Burns Red Injury
Metal Underground reports: August Burns Red guitarist JB Brubaker is currently hobbled with foot injury that may be a fracture. Brubaker explains: "During Every Time I Die's last song at the House of Blues in Dallas, I went to do a 'sweet' stage dive but ended up jumping too far into the crowd, landing in the pit and coming down very hard on my right heel.

"I haven't been able to walk on it since and I've been hobbeling around on crutches for the time being. Unfortunately, my busted heel keeps me from running around and rocking out like I would like to when we play. I am getting x-rays on Monday and I will find out if it's officially fractured or not.
I wanted to thank everyone for putting up with me and my gimp foot for the past week and for having a good time during our set.

Van Problems Sideline Scale The Summit Tour
Lambgoat reports: Scale The Summit has cancelled the remainder of their current tour. Here's a statement from guitarist Chris Letchford: "Due to unsolved van problems this late in the tour we have been forced to drop off our current tour with God Is An Astronaut.

"We would like to apologize to all of the clubs, promoters, our booking agency, and of course all of our fans that planned on coming to see us play. Its a bummer, being our first tour! We'll be touring again for sure. I think we are going to take this time to get the next album finished for Prosthetic Records.

It started on the way down from Kansas and got worse. We stopped in OK on our day off and the Machanic shop we went to had no time. We struggled to make it to SXSW and did, and played the hell out of it. - more on this story
