British rocker Gary Jarman has been admitted to hospital after suffering from suspected blood poisoning. The Cribs' bassist is thought to have contracted the condition after accidentally cutting himself with the strings of his bass guitar during a recent gig.
He had complained of pains in his arms on Saturday (06Oct07), but managed to play a scheduled gig in Sheffield, England. Jarman was taken to a local hospital in the early hours of Sunday morning (07Oct07) where it was confirmed he was suffering from blood poisoning. - more on this story
