Jennifer Lopez Cancels World Cup Opening Ceremony Performance
. Jennifer Lopez has pulled out of her performance at the opening ceremony of this year's World Cup in Brazil that will be taking place on Thursday, June 12th. Lopez was one of the featured performers on this year's official World Cup song, "We Are One," and a rep for the pop star and actress confirmed to E! News that she will be skipping the opening ceremony performance. The rep told E! News, "We can confirm the accuracy of FIFA's statement. Regretfully Jennifer Lopez will not be attending this year's World Cup opening ceremonies." Lopez's camp did not provide a reason for the cancelation but The Celebrity Caf� reports that "soccer's governing body stated that it's due to unspecified 'production issues.'"
