Missy Elliott Pays Tribute To Aaliyah On 'One in a Million' Anniversary

(Radio.com) On December 10, 1996, Aaliyah released "One in a Million," which was the second single off her sophomore album of the same name. Twenty years after the song went to radio, Missy Elliott, who wrote the track with Timbaland, paid tribute to the late singer. "Time flies! And there's still not a day that goes by that u aren't inspiring new artist[s] with your TIMELESS music & style! U will never be forgotten Aaliyah (Babygirl)," she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of Aaliyah from her "One in a Million" music video. "One in a Million" was a major hit for the singer as it reached No. 1 on Billboard's R&B Airplay Chart and remained there for six weeks.Read more here.
