Alicia Keys Perform 'Empire State of Mind' in Times Square
.
(Radio.com) Grammy winning artist Alicia Keys performed "In Common," the lead single from her upcoming record Here, in Times Square Sunday night (October 9). The native New Yorker also had some surprises for the crowd. Jay Z joined Keys to perform their 2010 chart topper 'Empire State of Mind." Also joining Keys on stage were Nas, John Mayer and Questlove. The soul singer covered John Lennon's 'Imagine" to celebrate the late Beatles member's birthday. October 9 would have been Lennon's 76th birthday. Here is the follow-up to Keys' 2012's album Girl on Fire. Just last week she shared her A$AP Rocky-collab "Blended Family (What You Do For Love)," the first single from the new album. Here is executive produced by Swizz Beatz, and scheduled for release November 4. Read more here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com. advertisement |
