Lohan just released a statement saying, "I am glad to be able to put this past me and move on with my life and my career. I support the judge's decision and hold myself accountable for being in this situation." Lohan added, "I have already started my community service at the Downtown Women's Center and thank everyone there for their warm welcome." She concluded, "I hope to be able to fulfill my obligation without any press attention. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, there is an active investigation into the disappearance of 25-year-old Megan Wren -- who had been living with Sizemore for six months prior to her disappearance on March 31st. Law enforcement sources confirm ... Tom was questioned recently and has "been very cooperative" -- but they wouldn't comment on whether he was considered a suspect. According to law enforcement, multiple witnesses claim Megan was last seen with Sizemore. more on this story

TMZ captured the incident on tape outside the Roxbury nightclub -- when an unknown man took a running start and delivered a ferocious punch to the head of a man who had just walked out of the club. The suit claims the celeb -- a male who is worth in excess of $100 million -- "entered into a nefarious plot designed to lure Plaintiff into his luxurious hotel room to serve his prurient desires." According to the lawsuit, filed by attorney Keith Davidson, it didn't end well, because the plaintiff contracted herpes. According to our Prince sources, Whitney attended several Prince concerts in the last few weeks and appeared to be "intoxicated" at each show -- though our sources never saw Whitney drink alcohol or take drugs. We're told Whitney was constantly badgering Prince's staff to let her up on the stage ... but Team prince shot her down every time because P's people "didn't want her to embarrass herself." Our sources say Whitney's erratic behavior, coupled with repeated and excessive ticket demands became too much for Prince -- and his team ultimately banned Houston from his concerts. more on this story

County Sheriff's official ... stating that she may not get early release based on jail overcrowding, and therefore she would likely serve roughly 84 days of the 120 day sentence. But now we're told ... the Sheriff's position is that Lindsay CAN get early release ... short story -- around 14 days will do it. So Wednesday, after Lindsay pleads no contest to misdemeanor theft, it's likely Lindsay will end up with electronic monitoring at home, and she's at the beach for cryin' out loud.
