Stones Bomb Scare?
AP reports: The Rolling Stones' concert at the University of Virginia was interrupted Thursday night while several police officers and three bomb-sniffing dogs searched the stage.

The show resumed after about a half-hour intermission. University, state and city police did not immediately return phone calls about the incident, and no announcement was made to the audience about the reason for the break.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Snoop Korn
Blabbermouth reports: KORN frontman Jonathan Davis has told Billboard.com that the group's video for their new single, "Twisted Transistor", finds Lil' Jon, Xzibit, Snoop Dogg and David Banner stepping into the roles of Davis, bassist Fieldy, guitarist Munky and drummer David Silveria, respectively.

Although Davis declined to reveal specifics, he confirmed KORN appears "somewhere" in the video and that the rap stars will be seen playing instruments, since "they're in our world. Jack Lesberg RIP
BBC reports: Jazz double bassist Jack Lesberg, who performed with the likes of Louis Armstrong and Benny Goodman has died at the age of 85.

Paddingtons Injury
DiS reports: The Paddingtons guitarist Marv Hines has done himself some damage on an evening out in his home town of Hull. Hines was enjoying a few bevvies with band mates when he rather nastily knackered his hand, severing tendons in his wrist. "I'm in the recording studio in Phoenix. I hooked up with a drummer named Josh Freese [A PERFECT CIRCLE] [in mid-September]. He recorded 23 songs for me while he was here. He's by far the best drummer I've ever witnessed in a recording studio. The guy can play anything. While he was recording, I was still writing about a song a day.
