Media Records is proud to re-release STRAPPING YOUNG LADs 1995 debut album
Heavy As A Really Heavy Thing in Europe. A masterpiece that changed the
metal world forever. The re-issue features a re-mastered version of this
classic debut, 4 bonus tracks, the S.Y.L. video and a 12 page booklet
with extended liner notes from Devin himself. As Devin recalls, I had
finished with the Wildhearts just prior to this [1994], and they were so
anti- everything that I decided to take a similar approach while focusing
on dissonance and just being as over-the-top as I could. Songs didnt really
matter; it was just the intensity and the vibe plus lots of humour. Screaming
and laughing are pretty close, I think, and I have just never been hard,

6th, unsigned artists will have a shot at their big break by submitting
their music for an online contest on the leading social networking and
lifestyle portal, MySpace.com. The winning bands song will be eligible
for inclusion in the movie and on the soundtrack to JOHN TUCKER MUST DIE.
The grand prize winner will be chosen on May 26th by a panel of celebrity
judges and music executives. Wind-up Records will award a $10,000 production

CBS reports: CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION,
the #1 drama on television, has collaborated with Eminem protégé
Obie Trice on a new music video of his original song "Snitch." The video,
made entirely from clips of the April 13 episode of CSI, "Poppin' Tags,"
features Obie Trice, who appears in the video, along with episode guest
stars Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler ("Meet the Barkers"), Page Kennedy
("Desperate Housewives"), Rick Gonzalez ("Old School"), rapper Method Man,
member of the Wu Tang Clan and star of the television series "The Wire"
and CSI cast members William Petersen, Marg Helgenberger, Gary Dourdan,
George Eads, Paul Guilfoyle, Jorja Fox, Eric Szmanda, Robert David Hall,
Wallace Langham and Louise Lombard.
The video can be seen exclusively on CBS.com
beginning Tuesday, April 14.
In addition Obie Trice, singing his song
"Snitch," will make his Network debut when the song is featured as part
of the soundtrack for this week's episode of CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION,
Thursday, April 13 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
