(TMZ) TMZ has learned, Creed lead singer Scott Stapp was arrested Saturday at LAX on charges that he was drunk in a public place (Penal Code, Section 647).
Police sources tell TMZ that Stapp tried to board a plane yesterday but was allegedly so drunk that airline personnel would not let him on. Sources say Stapp was "antagonistic, boisterous and pissed off."
Stapp got married the day before his arrest in Miami. His bride is Jaclyn Nesheiwat. Unclear if she was at the airport during the arrest.[see full story for more]

Scott Stapp is an egotistical @$#hole! He's always drunk! I'm yeah you're some what of a rock star but if you can't hack it, maybe he should make a "Sacrifice" and go to A.A. His music sucks too.

Just read another passengers detail on the incident at the bosh. Seems Stapp was at the admirals club at LAX drinking while waiting for their flight, he was drunk and acting beligerant. The whole time his wife just stood behind him mouthing I'm sorry. He then went to the desk to upgrade to first class and they had no more seats in 1st class so he started yelling and swearing at them. He then started yelling and swearing at his wife, who again stood there quietly. As the airline started boarding he yelled F this and started walking towards the entrance ramp yelling he was going to sit in first class, they closed the doors so he couldn't board and the cops arrived. Meanwhile he is wearing a fake cops bag and is telling them he is a cop, the cops threw him down spread his legs and cuffed him. Nice going. How could a women with any self repect allow a man to treat her with such disrespect let alone marry him. How desperate could she be. I feel for her family.
