Babs Inspired Aerosmith Hit
Blabbermouth reports: Jeff Walker of the Wilkes Barre Times-Leader has issued the following report:

Although "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" is by far and away AEROSMITH's biggest hit, it was not written with them in mind. Songwriter Diane Warren, who is easily the most successful songwriter of the past 20 years, was asked to write a song for the movie "Armageddon" and — as shocking as this sounds — it was largely inspired by Barbra Streisand and James Brolin![This is why you don't let other people write your music! see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Stephen King/Mellencamp Musical
tinfoil.music reports: Cats, shmats. Thanks to the combined firepower of Stephen King and John Mellencamp, get ready for the singin'est, dancin'est, finger-snappin'est, top-tappin'est--and possibly spookiest--musical hit of the millennium.

In one of the weirder collaborations in the history of musical theater, the king of horror and heartland rocker are--we kid you not--working on a haunted musical, according to Billboard.

"Our goal is someday to end up on Broadway," Mellencamp tells the trade paper. [and we thought his last CD was scary! see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
