Contact Music reports: BRITNEY SPEARS' husband
KEVIN FEDERLINE has secretly recorded a string of songs with his wife,
but vowed only to release them should his debut album be a success.
The hip-hop wannabe is currently searching
for a record deal, but is keen to ensure music executives don't sign him
up with a view to accessing music featuring his superstar spouse.
Federline tells MTV news he will be joined
by his TOXIC singer wife to market the tracks, as soon as he has garnered

Big Fish Dropped |
Punk Music reports: Jive Records drops Reel
Big Fish. The press release says that the band is "ecstatic" about this
as they now get to go back to their DIY Roots. Wait a sec... What DIY Roots?
So they are going to fall back on the indpendent labels now. Well at least
they aren't giving up... or should I say at least they won't have to give
up their publishing when signing with an indie.
They did throw in some digs against the
corporate label assholes saying that without having a good Ska band on
their roster, Jive can now focus on their "search for the next big boy-band."

conducted an interview with Billy Graziadei of BIOHAZARD/SUICIDE CITY.
A few excerpts from the question-and-answer session follow:
Metal Israel: Billy, the main question
tearing at my heart: Is it true your last tour will be BIOHAZARD's farewell
tour? Why?!??
Billy: "I will not be doing a 'last' tour
.I
will always be on tour
now I tour with my new band SUICIDE CITY. BIOHAZARD
will not be doing a 'farewell' tour as I feel that it cheapens what we
were about. I made a great album, an album that I am VERY proud of
'Means

Lawrence
Arms Vs Label |
punkbands reports: Let's forget for a second
the real news that The Lawrence Arms have finished their next album, "Oh!
Calcutta!" and are about to shoot a video for it's first singe. Nevermind
the band is also set to take on the east coast with NOFX and The Loved
Ones. How about we jump right into the juicy stuff. They're talking shit
about Victory Records. Who knows what the following quote is actually all
about, but let the speculation begin...
"Victory records totally sucks balls and
is giving sloppy fat dorks too much time on MTV and not enough royalties...oh,
and they're ruining music. They should get together with the warped tour
guys...oh wait."
