Backyard Babies Release
Black & White PR reports: Having spent the better part of 2005 on tour with Social Distortion in both Europe and North America, Swedish glam-punks Backyard Babies now offer up a souvenir of their concert experience. Live Live In Paris (no, that’s not a typo; it’s the verb followed by the adjective) showcases 15 classics from the catalog of the band Kerrang! calls the kings of “shit-kicking sleaze.” Recorded before a sold-out French crowd, it provides a memorable snapshot of the booze-fueled gutter rock that’s earned the quartet worldwide acclaim.

Recorded during the Stockholm Syndrome European tour, Live Live In Paris will be just as cherished by Backyard Babies fans as ticket stubs and concert t-shirts. For those not as well acquainted with these Billion Dollar Babies, it’s a grade-A slab of Swedish garage sleaze – the perfect primer on one of Europe’s top rock acts in the setting in which they were meant to be experienced. (Drinks sold separately.) Backyard Babies Live Live in Paris will be coming out on February 21, 2006 on Liquor & Poker Music.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Manowar Records
Press Release reports: During MANOWAR's storied career, the band faced the trials and tribulations that confront musicians trying to make it in the music business. Although MANOWAR have been triumphant in their battle to succeed and have stayed their course through rough waters, they saw many other bands fall to the perils of greed and commercialization in the music industry. MANOWAR created Magic Circle Music to help other bands avoid those same pitfalls by giving the power back to the musicians and the fans.

Heavy metal is unlike any other musical genre in one way above all others: Heavy metal is a way of life. Eschewing confidence, defiance and uncompromising power, metal music is the lifeblood that flows through the veins of fans and musicians alike. The bond and devotion between those fans and musicians is undeniable. Magic Circle Music is paving the way for a new era by creating a healthy and comfortable home for musicians so that metal will thrive. JAZZ CRUSADERS - PARIS CONCERT
This performance was recorded at the New Morning is Paris on November 8, 2002. These "crusaders of jazz" originally came together in the California of the sixties through the initiative of Wayne Henderson and Joe Sample, soon joined by Larry Carlton who was just launching his career. Their weapons, rather than swords and lances, have always been Soul and Funk. Since the worldwide success of "Street Life", the group has become an inescapable icon for lovers of sophisticated groove - and a legendary musical phoenix, rising from its ashes to new life again and again… Several crusades later, led by the untiring Wayne Henderson, the Jazz Cursaders are still right up there at the top, more in the groove than ever to the great delight of the fans who have flocked to the New Morning.
