Alkaline Trio 'Roots' Tour

The Gauntlet reports: This May As I Lay Dying will be re-releasing its' first two recordings previously out on Pluto Records.

"Both "Beneath the Encasing of Ashes", which was recorded two months after the band started, and our split EP songs, which were recorded a year later, will both be on one CD. TMZ reports: TMZ has obtained shocking video of horrific animal abuse.

We have a copy of a PETA ad that has not been released, fronted by Nine Inch Nails star Trent Reznor. The video shows how dogs and cats in China are brutally handled, killed and skinned for the fur trade industry. Reznor urges that Americans boycott fur products.

Sixx Has Heart
BWR reports: Just two days after receiving a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame with his band, Mötley Crüe, Nikki Sixx will announce “Running Wild in the Night,” a fundraising initiative through Covenant House to help youth on the streets of California and around the world. “Running Wild in the Night” will be a creative arts program, with an emphasis on music, to enable Covenant House to help homeless and displaced young people discover and nurture their talents. Sixx has already raised close to $40,000 by selling personal items, autographed merchandise and memorabilia through his website

One Dead Three Wounded
Chipster reports: On January 24th, 2006, One Dead Three Wounded will re-release their full-length debut album Paint The Town on New Jersey-based 1x1 Music. With an initial pressing on the independent Lovelost Records, the album only reached a limited audience. “We really wanted this record to be heard,” explains vocalist Tim Zahodski. “1x1 really gave us an opportunity.” The reissue of Paint The Town comes in a remixed and remastered digi-pack format with new artwork and will feature two new songs as bonus tracks: “Cardia” and “Soldiers.”
