looking forward to finally playing all over Europe on a good tour with

Cinderella
Finished Recording? |
PR reports: As part of his month-long Bananiversary
Celebration, rock & roll comic C.C. Banana spoke to guitarist Jeff
LaBar about the future of his bands Cinderella and Naked Beggars.
C.C. Banana: We hear that there are certain
legal complications preventing Cinderella from releasing a new studio album.
This situation dates back to the late 1990s when you first signed with
Sony, so wouldn't any statute of limitations be up by now? Is there anything
you're allowed to tell us about the status of this phantom album?
Jeff LaBar: It's not a legal matter, we
simply don't have a record deal. That's all there is to it. Sony never
prevented us from putting out a record, they just never released one. Our
legal problems with them are over. After we signed with Sony, we wrote
material and made demos for the next 3 years. But they never put us in
the studio with a producer to make a record because John Kalodner felt
that the writing wasn't strong enough. So he just kept telling us to write.
C.C. Banana: Is a new album something that
Cinderella would still like to pursue at this point?
Jeff LaBar: It's all up to Tom (Keifer).
I don't think he'll do it. He probably won't do his solo album, either.
Eric (Brittingham) and I can put out Naked Beggars albums all by ourselves,
but I don't think Cinderella will ever put out another record.-

Atheist
Injuries |
SMN reports: ATHEIST drummer Steve Flynn has
posted the following update/review of their recent live performances:
.The show at Evolution was going great
- as we all had our own equipment (minus my drums) and we were playing
very well - until Tony fell through the stage injuring his arm and destroying
his bass. Though, he sprung back and completed the set in fine fashion
despite the pain. We even did a little bass/drum jam session. Not only
that, after the show, Chris cut his head open on the big SAXON metal bird
prop that was hanging backstage. Kelly was standing back stage after the
show and saw Tony taken to the ambulance after the show only to see Chris
being brought in a few minutes later on a stretcher with blood streaming
down his face. Kelly was like "what the fuck is going on????" Nothing is
ever easy for us..

Pat
Green's Cannonball |
PR reports: Pat Green's new album Cannonball
will be in stores August 22nd!
Pat Green commands a position in the music
world uniquely his own. He sells out stadiums like the Houston Astrodome
and Dallas' Smirnoff Center as well as the Nokia Theater in New York City
as a headliner, yet he also gets the opportunity to tour with major artists
like Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and the Dave Matthews Band. That dichotomy
underscores one point: As hugely popular as Pat Green is, as rabid as his
loyal fan base is, there's still an enormous audience getting their first
exposure to his one-of-a-kind music and performances. With his first album
since signing with BNA Records, the three-time Grammy nominee looks to
take his music to the masses. Cannonball, his explosive new album, captures
Green's joyous, provocative songwriting style with new sharpness and swagger.
Working for the first time with a powerhouse Nashville label, Green and
his supporters expect Cannonball to transform him from massive cult star
to emerging country superstar. [see full story for a preview of the CD]-

hits such as "Sell Out", "Beer", and "The Set Up". They set up their own
independent record deal, with digital distribution through Rock Ridge Music!

the audio discs feature a total of 30 songs, including an unreleased track
written during the sessions of We're Not Happy 'Til You're Not Happy, "So
Much For Rock N' Roll," and a cover of The Cure's "Boys Don't Cry."

Anna
Troy Blues |
PR reports: Though only twenty two, guitarist
Anna Troy already has a lifetime of experience when it comes to music.
A respected guitar instructor, multiple San Diego Music Award Nominee and
former Elektra Records recording artist, Troy has seen the ups and downs
the music business can offer- perhaps the perfect introduction to the blues.
Following her four year stint alongside her sister in pop duo, The Troy's,
and with the support and influence of several established blues artists,
she began writing and performing her own songs in the genre a year and
a half ago. Her passion has been evident from the start; little more than
twelve months after beginning to craft those tunes, Troy was selected as
one of the top three finalists in the International Blues Challenge at
the San Diego House of Blues in November 2005. Even with a whirlwind schedule
that regularly sees her playing up to three times a day, she still managed
enough time in the first half of 2006 to record her debut, Aint No Man.[see
