(Press Release) Nashville-based indie rock trio Apollo Up are set to release their sophomore album, Chariots of Fire, on June 13th via Theory 8 Records. The album is the follow-up to the critically acclaimed debut, /Light the End and Burn It Through/, and features a more polished and mature approach to songwriting along with cathartic guitars, emotive vocals and raw production. Fronted by singer and guitarist Jay Phillips, and rounded out by bassist Mike Shepherd and drummer Jereme Frey, Apollo Up delivers an energetic live show that features forceful vocals and guitar acrobatics. The band has showcased at the CMJ Music Marathon in New York City, and they have shared the stage with the likes of Shipping News, Bloodthirsty Lovers, Matt Sharp, The Pink Spiders, and Decahedron.
