Maynard James Keenan's Puscifer Announces Spring Tour |

Puscifer features a rotating cast of players involved in the recordings, which includes the aforementioned Keenan as well as Mat Mitchell, Tim Alexander, Jonny Polonsky, Matt McJunkins, Jeff Friedl, Carina Round, Lustmord, God, Laura Milligan, Milla Jovovich Gil & Rani Sharone, Danny Lohner, Josh Eustis, and Juliette Commagere.

Iron Maiden Announce More Festival Shows |
After their triumphant show in 2008, this will mark the second show of the British Metal legends at the Wacken:Open:Air. Their gig on Thursday, August 5th, 2010 will also be their only German show next year.
Comments Iron Maiden's Steve Harris: "We had a fantastic time playing at Wacken last year so when we decided to play a few festivals in Europe next Summer it seemed a great idea to return. What could be better in Germany than to play again to the 75,000 true Metalheads who go to Wacken!"

Thirty Seconds To Mars Album Score Alternative Hit, But Miss Mainstream Top 10 |
This Is War features thousands of different album covers, as friends, fans, musicians, artists and many other notable persons submitted their own photos to be used on individual covers as part of the band's innovative Faces of Mars campaign. Not only are fans on album covers, the Thirty Seconds To Mars faithful can be heard yelling, clapping, stomping and singing choruses throughout the album. Fans participated in these "Summits" earlier this year in any of 9 countries around the world before the band extended the event digitally through TwitVid, allowing any fan with a wireless signal the ability to contribute.
"The Summit started as an interactive recording experiment and quickly became a defining element to this album," said frontman Jared Leto. "An extension to this interactive idea is The Faces of Mars campaign. Basically an art project that celebrates the physical release of the cd and gave us a chance to put a face to the thousands and thousands of voices from around the world."

Red Pen's Debut Set |
In addition to being dubbed "Best New Band" by hometown paper City Pages and "Minnesota's Best Band 2009" by The Boston Phoenix, Red Pens recently received a spot on The Onion's Twin Cities' "Best of the Decade" list for being "one of the most buzzed-about new local bands of the year."
The unlikely pair that is Red Pens came together when Howard W. Hamilton III, former member of The Busy Signals, took an interest in Laura Bennett's artwork. The result is a talented and passionate duo capable of filling a room with massive sound. With buzz building over their debut album, REASONS, and a live performance that is known for being energetic, aggressive, and always unpredictable, Red Pens has certainly proven to be attention-worthy. Culture Bully praises the band for creating an album that "transcends the local scene and positions them to be heard in the near future by a much bigger audience."

Green Go Announce US Debut |
Today the band is thrilled to announce the digital release of THE GREEN GO EP, out February 23rd thru Caroline/EMI. The 4-song EP includes "Put Your Specs On Boy", "Brains for Breakfast" and "Ghosts of the Future", all of which have been licensed for sync use by MTV Canada in the past six months.
The band also plans to bring their electric live show - including two drummers, two synths, bass and guitar - to SXSW 2010. Stay tuned for show specifics to be announced soon!

Karnivool and Fair To Midland Team Up For Tour |
The trek will begin at the South By Southwest Music Festival in Austin March 16-21, where the band were accepted in the first round of showcasing artists and have already confirmed four performances.
All venues are not yet confirmed, but after starting in the south and heading up the east coast to NYC, Philly and Boston, the VOOL will then head west through Cleveland, Minneapolis and Denver before wrapping up in San Francisco and LA.
