Misery Factory

03/09/06
.
(Relapse) MISERY INDEX will provide direct support for FEAR FACTORY during their extensive seven-week European tour.

The European-wide tour, which begins March 18 in Bologna, Italy, covers 15 countries and over 42 shows. A complete listing of tour dates follows this message.

MISERY INDEX guitarist John 'Sparky' Voyles comments: “Hell yeah! A month ago, we wouldn't have thought this was possible. Everyone in Misery Index is really excited to take part in this amazing tour with Fear Factory. We'll be playing a few tracks from our new album "Discordia", as well as some older faves, so everyone come out and thrash!”

MISERY INDEX’s Relapse debut, Discordia, is scheduled for a May 16th release in North America (May 22 Internationally) and will feature ten new tracks from the Baltimore-based quartet. The band's energetic and articulate music has been pushing the boundaries of metal, hardcore and punk since the its’ spring 2001 inception, and in what has become MISERY INDEX's calling card, Discordia promises to deliver lyrics as weighty and confrontational as their music is deadly.

Prior to the European tour with FEAR FACTORY, MISERY INDEX will visit Japan for the first time. Up-to-the-minute MISERY INDEX tour dates can be found on the band’s myspace page: www.myspace.com/miseryindex.
