"This CD has an old-school R&B feel," says Charles of his debut. "It also has a flavour of blues and a little of country. It has a very earthy sound. I've tried to bring back the days when artists used horns and strings on their projects to enhance their groove."
"I have always felt music in my spirit. I started at such an early age, my heart has never known another way to express itself." Influenced by radio in the sixties and seventies, his first band was called "We Friends," performing at talent shows and the like. Thus began Charles' career in music, from performing at private events, country clubs, casinos and local clubs. Currently his band "Music Box" is one of the most sought after bands in the region. - more on this story
